The Village Atmosphere

In Selimiye, which attracted attention with its excellent sea, calm nature and peaceful atmosphere, the small marina built for joining the boats was not enough and every pension and restaurant which was a coast of bay created its own small pier over time. For this reason Selimiye Cove is not surrounded by a long sandy beach but surrounded by small tiny piers.

The unique little restaurants, delicious meals and intimate human voices rising from the piers invite the viewer to calm down. This character distinguishes Selimiye from more developed resorts where beaches stretch for kilometers.

Dining and Accommodation

Fish restaurants built on wooden platforms over the water have become Selimiye’s signature feature. Diners sit just above the gentle waves, enjoying the freshest seafood prepared simply. Evening meals stretch into night as guests linger over wine and conversation.

Accommodation options remain intentionally small-scale. Boutique hotels and family pensions dominate rather than large resorts. This limitation preserves the village character that attracts visitors seeking escape from crowded destinations.
